Information on this site is posted in good faith but its completeness and accuracy cannot be guaranteed. We do not accept liability for any error or omission on the site. We may change or update information on the site from time to time. We do not warrant that this site will be uninterrupted or error free.  We will not be liable for any damages, loss or other claim arising from, or connected with, the use of any aspect of this website.

Prices

Prices are shown in UK currency only. Outside the UK your credit card company should convert the amount charged to the currency of your country, at the current rate. Where materials are purchased directly from this site, there are no shipping costs because the materials are sent by e-mail attachment to the purchaser. If pre-paid materials are requested and sent by CD and postal delivery, an additional charge is made in order to cover costs. 

Payment

You must pay for your Order before it is sent. You can do so by credit card, debit card, cheque or postal order.

  • Credit card

Credit card and debit card payments can only be accepted through the payment facilities shown on the site.  If you live outside the UK, payment must be made by credit card.
All order details and invoices will be included in the e-mail to which the purchased material is attached. If the material is sent by post the invoice will be included.

  • Cheque or Postal Order

In the UK, you may pay by cheque or postal order. Cheques are made payable to The Educational Psychology Practice.

Delivery of Purchased Materials

  • Purchase by credit/debit card through the site

The material purchased is sent automatically as an e-mail attachment to the customer’s e-mail address. 

  • Cheques and Postal Orders

Depending on the customer’s wishes, the material can be sent by e-mail attachment or by post as a CD. Hard copies of the materials may be available on request, although these incur an additional cost. 

Copyright

The material must not be distributed in any form. Use of the material must conform to the specifications set out below. Any breaches will be pursued.

  • Purchase for individual, non-systemic use

This refers to, for example:

-  a parent who wishes to use the material for their children within their own home (in this case any number of hard copies may be printed out and used)

-  a professional person (eg Teacher or Social Worker) who wishes to use the material to promote the assessment and learning of a particular individual (in this case any number of hard copies necessary may be printed out and used)

- a professional or other person who wishes to enhance their knowledge, understanding and skills in respect of the substance of the material
  • Purchase for use within an organisation

 

This refers to, for example:

- a school, or department within a school, that wants to use the material to promote the assessment and learning of groups of pupils 

- a Further or Higher Education establishment that wants to use the material to promote the assessment and learning of groups of students 

- a Social Work department that wants to use the material as a professional tool for a number of clients

- a business, charity or other private organisation that wishes, for whatever reason, to use the material to promote its effectiveness

- Private Tutors working with a number of individual clients

Purchasing organisations such as those above may print and/or distribute the material without restriction within their own organisation (in the case of schools this includes to parents of the pupils concerned).

Returns 

Since the material is supplied electronically, it cannot be returned. Purchasers should ensure that they have read carefully the descriptions of an item before committing to buying it. We will return payment only where there is an error in the description of the material.

Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to change the Terms of Service at any time.
